PRC: 1,120 of 1,990 takers pass board exams for architects

(Eagle News) — Over 1,000 passed the Architect Licensure Examinations in January, the Professional Regulation Commission announced on Wednesday, Jan. 30.

According to the PRC, the 1,120 who passed the exams in  Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi and
Zamboanga on January 25 and 27 represent over 50 percent of the  1,990 who took the tests.

Justin Lei Germino Ramos of the Cebu Institute of Technology University topped the exams, with an 83.8 percent rating.

Ramos was followed by Carlo Martin Lovete Llanto of the University of the Philippines Diliman, and by Christina Marie Reamico Relucio of the Technological University of the Philippines-Manila, each with a rating of 83.5 percent.

In third place was Angelo Ezekiel Pallorina Nuestro of the Dela Salle University-College of Saint Benilde, with a rating of 83.4 percent.

Genna Aina Gapusan Domingo of the Mapua University (For. MIT) in Manila was in fourth place with a rating of 83 percent, followed by Sofia Marga Vallega Silot of the University of Mindanao in Davao, with a rating of 82.3 percent.

Ulysses Eduardo Baldo de Guia Jr. also of Mapua in Manila was in sixth place, with an 82 percent rating, followed by Ivan Lester Leaño, also of TIP-Manila, with a rating of 81.8 percent.

Marlon Capistrano Gamilong of TIP-Manila and Kim Mark Anthony Talictic Revote also of University of Mindanao in Davao shared the eight place, with a rating of 81.7 percent each.

Their schoolmate, Noel Tizon Amor Jr., was in ninth place, with an 81.60 percent rating.

In tenth place was Emmanuel Josemarie Reyes Teruel of the University of Sto. Tomas, with an 81.5 percent rating.

The PRC said the date and venue for the mass oathtaking of the successful examinees will be announced soon.
