QUEZON City, Philippines – As the election period nears, more and more viral memes are becoming popular in the internet, especially those who have plans to run in the said election. But the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group warned netizens to be careful with what they post and share on the worldwide web as they may face charges of online libel, which is a degree higher than offline libel.
