(Eagle News)–The Philippine National Police on Wednesday, Sept. 25, vowed to continue its case build-up against the woman who reportedly buys recycled illegal drugs from “ninja” policemen.
PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Bernard Banac said this was so the PNP “can file charges” against Guia Gomez Castro “if evidence warrants.”
The National Capital Region Police Office has said it was verifying the whereabouts of Castro, who, reports said, was in the United States.
NCRPO Guillermo Eleazar said 16 policemen who collude with Castro are no longer in active duty, but said police were checking if there were others involved in the scheme.
Earlier, the Senate approved the disclosure of the names of the “ninja cops” revealed in an executive session.
