PNP still identifying group behind Davao City blast

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa admitted that the PNP is finding it difficult to identify the group behind the Davao City blast.

According to Dela Rosa, the PNP is sure about one thing and that is the place of manufacture of the bomb used in the incident that killed 14 people and injured 67 others.

The findings of the PNP point that the bomb was made in Central Mindanao and bears the trademark of those trained by Marwan. But due to the alliance of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) with other terrorist groups, it is difficult to identify exactly who was behind the Davao City blast.
