PNP: Over P4 million worth of marijuana plants destroyed in Cebu

(Eagle News) — More than P4 million worth of marijuana plants were destroyed by authorities in Cebu on Monday.

The Philippine National Police said the more or less 11,200 fully-grown marijuana plants uprooted by PNP operatives and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Sitio Sampinitan, Brgy. Tagba-o had an estimated value of P4,480,000.

The plants were situated on a 800 sqm space owned by a certain Boy Ardimer, the PNP said.

It said manhunt operations are underway.

The PNP said criminal charges are also being prepared against the suspect.
