QUEZON City, Philippines – According to the Philippine National Police, all of their personnel were placed on alert as the official campaign period starts.
The PNP also added that they are ready to provide security during the campaign activities of every political party and that the police will provide the same and equal service to all candidates because of the non-partisan nature of the PNP.
