QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — The guidelines for the new “Oplan Tokhang” have already been completed, Philippine National Police Chief Ronald Dela Rosa.
But the PNP chief, who spoke in a press conference on Monday, January 22, refused to release the same to the media.
“‘Yung orientation na lang ng Tokhangers, ‘yan na lang yung pina-finalize before tayo mag-Tokhang, within this week,” Dela Rosa said.
Dela Rosa said that police with shady records will not be included among the “Tokhangers.”
“Limitado yung Tokhang sa mga na-orient na Tokhangers–‘yung taga-katok para hindi na makakatok ‘yung mga sindikato, ‘yung nangangatok na nagpapakita ng peke na listahan para mang-extort ng pera sa mga suspected drug personalities,” he said.
“So yung legitimate Tokhangers ang kakatok at makiusap,” he added.
