(Eagle News) — The number of senatorial bets running under the PDP-Laban ticket is now down to “five or six.”
This is according to Senator Koko Pimentel, who had said he had sent an initial list of 24 possible senatorial bets to President Rodrigo Duterte, the PDP-Laban chair, in August.
According to Pimentel, the number was reduced after some decided to run for other posts such as Quirino Rep. Dakila Carlo Dax Cua, who said he would be running for governor.
Others like Davao Rep. Karlo Nograles, he said, decided to no longer push through with their plans to run.
According to Pimentel, the official list of candidates would be announced next week.
