PHL clinches more golds with wins in arnis, women’s sepak takraw events

(Eagle News)–The Philippines hauled more golds in the 30th Southeast Asian Games with wins in arnis and the women’s sepak takraw events.

Dexler Bolambao took home the country’s  first gold medal in arnis, after defeating Paing Soe of Myanmar in the bantamweight division via unanimous decision.

In third place was Cambodia’s Nget Deb.

The Philippine women’s sepak takraw team dominated the event with a win against Indonesia, who took home the silver.

Myanmar clinched the last podium finish.
