Permit to carry firearms in M. Manila, C. Luzon suspended from Nov. 1 to 15

(Eagle News) — Permits to carry firearms outside of residences for civilians are suspended in Metro Manila and Central Luzon from Nov. 1 to Nov. 15.

Philippine National Police Director General Ronald dela Rosa said the suspension was in connection with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit to be held next month.

The summit which 21 heads of states from different countries is expected to attend is slated from Nov. 12 to Nov. 15.

United States President Donald Trump is also slated to attend the summit.
