(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies are expected in parts of the country as the southwest monsoon affects Luzon and Western Visayas.
In its recent bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, and Bataan is forecast to have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon.
Flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate rains are possible.
Pagasa predicted Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
Luzon and Western Visayas are forecast to have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have moderate to winds and coastal waters, the weather bureau said.
