(Eagle News)-President Rodrigo Duterte has already given instructions to ensure the people within the perimeter of Taal are out of the danger zone.
Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo added concerned agencies of the national government were now working closely with the Provincial Government of Batangas to ensure the safety of the residents, including their evacuation.
He said the Palace was so far closely monitoring the situation.
“We advise the public to continue to remain vigilant,” he said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has upgraded the alert status of Taal to Level 3.
