(Eagle News) — The Palace on Wednesday called on the public to cooperate with the authorities as they hunt down the remaining terrorists and other lawless elements.
Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella issued the statement following the arrest of Aminkisa Romato Macadato, an alleged financier and member of the Maute terrorist group, in Valenzuela on Oct. 7.
According to authorities, Macadato, who is included in the arrest orders issued by the Department of National Defense, is the nephew of Farhana Maute, Maute matriarch.
“We ask our people to continuously remain vigilant in their respective areas and cooperate with police and soldiers to hunt down (those) who are out to destroy the peace prevailing in our communities,” Abella said.
