Pag-IBIG fund declares 6-month moratorium for payment of loans of Marawi City members

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Home Mutual Development Fund or PAG-IBIG fund declared a six-month moratorium on all collections on all kinds of loans of members in Marawi City.

This was according to Pag-IBIG Chief Executive Officer Acmad Rizaldy Moti.

“Yes, we have imposed a moratorium on loan payment for six months for our members working in Marawi as well as those who reside in Marawi but working outside the city,” Mori announced.

“This has already taken effect.  Also if they missed paying their loans in June, counted na rin ‘yun sa six months moratorium,” Moti noted.

The moratorium takes into account the period of recovery of Marawi City.

Aside from the moratorium, Pag-IBIG is also offering P150,000 in Express Home Rehabilitation and Recovery Loans.
