(Eagle News) — The approved one peso provisional jeepney fare increase in National Capital Region (NCR) and Regions 3 and 4 will take effect starting Friday, February 10.
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) in a Twitter post said that the effectivity of the fare hike for the Public Utility Jeepneys will start at 12:01 am on Friday.
The LTFRB also advised all the PUJ operators to post a Notice of Provisional Fare Increase inside their public utility vehicles “that would be conspicuously seen by the riding public.”
The minimum fare starting Friday will be Php 8.00.
