One step center for OFWs, now open

QUEZON City, Philippines – The government opened the One-Stop Center for Overseas Filipino Workers or OSSCO wherein OFWs can avail all of the required government services at the first floor of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

According to Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre Bello III, the opening of OSSCO is in compliance with the directive of President Rodrigo Duterte to make more convenient and accessible for OFWs to avail government services.

Other than the POEA, other government agencies represented in the OSSCO include the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Maritime Industry Authority, Professional Regulation Commission, Home Development Mutual Fund, Philhealth, Social Security System, Philippine Statistics Authority, Bureau of Immigration, Commission on Higher Education, National Bureau of Investigation and the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority.
