QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Malacañang dismissed the senate resolution filed by Senator Antonio Trillanes IV which asked the Senate to investigate the alleged ill-gotten wealth of President Rodrigo Duterte and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.
“Lumang tugtugin. Lumang balita para nang sirang plaka,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said.
He also said that Trillanes’ accusations have been dealt with since the start of the 2016 elections.
“This is old news; this is rehashed. He already sounds like a broken record. This first came about during the elections but Senator Trillanes was not able to establish anything,” said Roque.
