Oil companies hike prices of diesel and kerosene but reduce gas prices

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Oil companies implemented price hikes on Tuesday, February 28, on its diesel and kerosene products, but lowered prices for gasoline.

Big oil companies such as Seaoil Philippines, Pilipinas Shell, Petroleum Corporation, Flying V, Eastern Petroleum and PTT Philippines already announced their price adjustment this morning at 6:00 a.m., while others were expected to follow.

The price for diesel was increased by 35 centavos (Php 0.35) per liter, while for kerosene, the increase was 30 centavos (Php 0.30) per liter.

Gasoline prices were reduced by Php 0.40 per liter.
