MANILA, Philippines – Today, February 9, marks the official start of the campaign period, with national candidates given 90 days to convince the public to vote for them. Said campaign period will end on May 7.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) will monitor the campaign expenses of said candidates including advertisements.
