(Eagle News)—-Former President Benigno Aquino III said he has no plans of running for a post in the 2019 elections.
“Kung tatakbo ako, baka itayo ko lang ang sarili kong bangko pero kung interes ng taumbayan sa paghihirap ko mas maraming makakaupo, kung mas makakatulong sa ating bansa kesa sa sumikat ako,mas mabuti na sumikat ang bansa,” he told reporters during the commemoration of the death anniversary of his father.
He said he would instead campaign for candidates who have “similar views” and “similar advocacies.”
“Gusto natin magparami ng bilang,” he said.
“Siguro naman dapat tumulong tayo na meron tayong oposisyon na talagang constructive na magpo-provide ng tamang check and balance,” he added.
