(Eagle News) — Starting Sunday, July 8, roads in the Balintawak Cloverleaf area will be closed to vehicular traffic, the North Luzon Expressway said.
In an announcement, NLEX said that the Balintawak Cloverleaf southwest ramp along A. Bonifacio Avenue from EDSA-Monumento will be closed from 11 p.m. to 4 p.m., for 70 days up to 80 days due to the NLEX drainage enhancement project.
Motorists were advised to take the following alternate routes:
Route 1: Vehicles coming from NLEX should take Smart Connect Interchange to Mindanao Avenue to destination. Exit to EDSA Monumento-bound and make a U-Turn to EDSA Southbound.
Route 2: Vehicles coming from Monumento to A. Bonifacio Avenue should turn right to Biglang Awa Street, left at Jasmine Street, straight to 11th Avenue, turn right at A. Bonifacio Avenue to destination.
Starting July 20 to August 9, the southwest ramp through EDSA-Cubao and the rightmost lane going through A. Bonifacio Avenue will also be closed from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
