NDRRMC: Number of people missing in supermarket collapse in Porac, Pampanga down to 5

(Eagle News)–The number of people who went missing when a Chuzon supermarket in Porac, Pampanga collapsed after an earthquake is now down to five.

In an interview over GMA’s dzbb on Saturday, April 27, Edgar Posadas, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management spokesperson, said this was after nine of the 14 initially reported missing were found to be safe and in their homes.

Authorities have reported several killed after the supermarket collapsed following the 6.1-magnitude quake that struck Luzon on Monday.

Over 80 were also reported injured.

President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered an assessment of buildings after the strong earthquake that was also felt in Metro Manila.
