NCRPO: Woman who buys recycled illegal drugs from “ninja cops” never took oath as Manila barangay chair

(Eagle News)–The woman who allegedly buys recycled illegal drugs from “ninja cops” never took her oath as barangay chair.

According to National Capital Region Police Office chief Guillermo Eleazar, who gave a dzbb radio interview on Wednesday, Sept. 25, a kagawad of Barangay 484 Zone 48 in Manila assumed the post of officer-in-charge instead after Guia Gomez Castro failed to take her oath in 2018.

Castro is reportedly in the United States but Eleazar said her whereabouts are still being verified.

He said the unscrupulous policemen who collude with Castro were already inactive in service.

He said nine were dead, two retired, two dismissed, and two went AWOL.

Eleazar said they were, however, still looking at other policemen and civilians who may continue to collude with Castro, whose operations have reportedly been dealt a blow with the administration’s war on drugs.

Earlier, the Senate approved a motion to reveal the names of the “ninja cops”  disclosed in an executive session with former Criminal Investigation and Detection Group chief Benjamin Magalong.

Senator Bong Go had said President Rodrigo Duterte himself would reveal the names as soon as “cross-checking” was completed.
