(Eagle News) — The National Bureau of Investigation on Friday announced the arrest of a fake dentist in Caloocan City.
NBI Director Dante Gierran said Ronalyn Cruz-Tan was nabbed on Thursday after she performed a dental procedure on an undercover operative in her clinic.
He said her arrest stems from a complaint lodged Dr. Ariel Go, chair of the Anti-Illegal Practice Committee of the Philippine Dental Association, on December 2017.
Go alleged Cruz-Tan was engaged in the practice “without the necessary license and certificate required by law,” the NBI said.
Cruz-Tan is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9484, or the Philippine Dental Act of 2007.
