QUEZON City, Philippines – Lawmakers expressed their support for the implementation of a national identification system in order to counter terrorism.
Compostela Valley 2nd District Representative Roel Gonzaga said the system will facilitate the identification of individuals.
He said it will also be easier to trace individuals who have committed violations of the law.
