MRT-3 to resume operations on Tuesday, April 23

(Eagle News)–The Metro Rail Transit 3 will resume operations on Tuesday, April 23.

The MRT-3 said this was after a “thorough assessment” yielded “no structural and systems issues.”

Operations of the rail system, including those of the Light Rail Transit-2 and LRT 1   were suspended on Monday, April 22, in the aftermath of a 6.1-magnitude earthquake.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has lifted the number-coding scheme for all public utility vehicles on Tuesday, April 23, to ensure commuters  would not be stranded in light of the suspension of operations of some rail systems.
