(Eagle News) — The Manila Regional Trial Court on Friday ordered the transfer of Customs broker Mark Ruben Taguba to the Philippine National Police Custodial Center, citing security reasons.
Branch 46 Judge Rainelda Estacio-Montesa also moved the arraignment of Taguba and Eirene Mae Tatad to April 6.
Taguba and Tatad have pending motions that sought the dismissal of cases against them.
They are among several charged with drug importation in connection with the P6.4-billion shabu shipment mess in May.
