The Malacañang is ready to answer the revelation of former Philippine National Police Chief Superintendent Diosdado Valeroso regarding a audio recording which proves an alleged cover-up of the Mamasapano incident wherein several high-ranking government officials and a congressman are discussing how to cover up said encounter to ensure that the passage of the Bangsamoro Basic Law will push through.
According to Presidential Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma, the Palace is waiting for the re-opening of the Senate investigation, which will serve as the proper forum for the presentation of new evidence regarding the Mamasapano encounter.
