(Eagle News)–The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration is monitoring a low pressure area off Ilocos Norte.
Pagasa said the LPA spotted 115 kilometers west of Laoag as of 3 a.m. is apart from the southwest monsoon affecting Luzon.
The Cordillera Administrative Region, and Central Luzon will have monsoon rains, with flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy monsoon rains possible.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, CALABARZON, and Cagayan Valley will, on the other hand, have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters while Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
