(Eagle News) – A low pressure area east of Catanduanes and the Southwest Monsoon will continue to bring rains in various parts of the country today, Thursday, August 1, according to the country’s weather bureau.
The LPA was monitored as of 3 a.m. today at 460 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes, and its through will bring scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms to the Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao region.
The southwest monsoon, on the other hand, will bring rainshowers and thunderstorms in Pangasinan, Zambales and Bataan which will also experience cloudy skies, PAGASA said.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.
