Lesser number of bus in Metro Manila by 2018

QUEZON City, Philippines – There will be a reduction of the thousand of buses that traverse Metro Manila by 2018 after the government finishes the two inter-modal bus stations. In the second Senate hearing regarding the giving of emergency powers to the President to alleviate traffic, the officials of the Department of Transportation said that the Duterte administration targets the completion of two inter-modal bus terminals in south and south-west Metro Manila by 2018. The officials added that passengers of provincial buses will disembark in said terminals. Furthermore, the Department of Transportation said that the construction of the inter-modal bus terminal for provincial provinces coming from the north will start on 2019 or 2020.
