QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — ANGKLA party-list Representative Jess Manalo suggested that members of the Philippine National Police should wear body cameras to remove suspicion regarding police operations.
He said this will help particularly when the statement of the police conflicted with the claim of the other party.
The measure will ensure that there will be an actual video footage of the questioned police operations.
Manalo said that he will propose this bodycam law in the House of Representatives.
