Lacson to Albayalde: Sack policemen who fired their guns indiscriminately during the holidays

(Eagle News)—Senator Panfilo Lacson urged  Philippine National Police Chief Oscar Albayalde to give policemen who fired their guns indiscriminately during the holidays the boot.

In a Tweet on Wednesday, Jan. 2, Lacson said the policemen were, after all, “scumbags” who had “no regard for life.”

“What if someone got hit and died, or paralyzed? D*mn these scumbags! They have no purpose in life, really,” Lacson said.

He said the PNP should sustain its internal cleansing efforts, noting that rogue policemen “do not deserve to stay a minute longer in the police service.”

Albayalde said seven policemen are facing charges for firing their guns indiscriminately during the holidays.
