ITCZ affects Palawan, Mindanao today, June 7

(Eagle News)–An Intertropical Convergence Zone is affecting Palawan and Mindanao today, June 7.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said as a result, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Bangsamoro, Zamboanga and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Bicol, Visayas,  the rest of Mimaropa and the rest of Mindanao, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

The rest of Luzon has a similar forecast, but due to localized thunderstorms.

Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
