(Eagle News) — Vast rice and cornfields are damaged by typhoon Ompong’s powerful winds and rainds that slammed into Ilagan City in Isabela.  Initial estimated pegged the damage to agriculture at more than P370 million.   In the Philippines, the over-all damage to agriculture was estimated at more than P14 billion, according to the Department of Agriculture.
