Immigration lookout order issued vs UST law dean, others over Castillo hazing death

(Eagle News) — The Department of Justice on Thursday issued an immigration lookout bulletin order against other individuals who were mentioned in the Oct. 18 Senate hearing on the hazing death of Horacio Castillo III, including University of Sto. Tomas Faculty of Civil Law dean Nilo Divina.

Apart from Divina, included in the ILBO were Alex Bose, Alex Cairo, Alexander J. Flores, Allan Chrisopher S. Agati, Alvin S. Dysangco, Arnel A. Bernardo, Arthur B. Capili, Arthur Capili, Arvin A. Balag, Atty. Alston Kevin Anarna, Atty. Cecilio Jimeno, Atty. Cesar “Mong” Gaba dela Fuente, Atty. Cesar Ocampo Ona, Atty. Edzel Bert Canlas, Atty. Ferdinand Rogelio, Atty. Gaile Dante Acuzar Caraan, Atty. Henry Pablo Jr., Atty. Jet dela Pena Villaroman, Atty. Manuel Angelo Ventura III, Atty. Marvi Abo, Atty. Michael Vito, Atty. Nino Servanez, Axxel Munro Hipe, and Brian Bangui.

Also included in the ILBO were Cezar N. Tirol, Chuck Siazar, Daniel Ragos, Danielle Hans Matthew Rodrigo, Dave Felix, Edric Pilapil, Edwin C. Uy, Emmanuel Y. Velasco, Gabriel T. Robeniol, Ged Villanueva, Henry Pablo Jr., Jason Adolfo Robinos, John Paul Solano, Jose Miguel Salamat and Joshua Joriel Macabali.

In issuing an ILBO against them, the DOJ said the individuals were mentioned in a social media conversation relayed by Chief Supt. Joel Coronel, Manila Police District director, during the hearing; and were alleged to have gathered at Novotel Hotel in Cubao to “discuss the ways, means and actions they will have to take regarding the criminal investigation.”

“The following…may be considered persons of interest in the ongoing investigation on the death of Mr. Castillo,” the DOJ said.

The DOJ issued the ILBO a day after Marc Ventura, a suspect in Castillo’s death, turned state witness.
