Hubert Dominic Guevara appointed SEC commissioner

(Eagle News)– Hubert Dominic Guevara has been appointed commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Presidential Communications Office made the announcement in a Facebook post on Thursday night.

Prior to his appointment, Guevara, a lawyer, served as senior deputy executive secretary.

He is also former director of the SEC’s Compliance and Enforcement Department.

The SEC is under the Department of Finance.
