House to delve into Espino’s link to drug matrix

(Eagle News)– House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez said on Thursday that House of Representatives won’t do anything “drastic” to Rep. Amado Espino’s connection with the New Bilibid Prison drug matrix, but he also intends to meet the Representative of Pangasinan.

“Of course, kailangan tingnan natin dahil hindi naman ibig sabihin na nandoon ‘yung pangalan mo ay kami dito sa Kongreso, meron kaagad gagawin na drastic,” Alvarez stated.
According to Alvarez, he was scheduled to meet Espino on Tuesday next week.
Espino was branded on President Duterte’s matrix as “the richest politician in Northern Luzon”. It was also illustrated in the matrix that he benefits from black sand mining, quarrying and jueteng operations.
