(Eagle News) — The House Committee on Justice recommended the grant of immunity to Ronnie Dayan as it started its inquiry on Thursday morning (November 24) into the alleged proliferation of illegal drugs at the New Bilibid prisons.

With no member of the House objecting, House committee chair Rep. Rey Umali said they would forward their motion to grant immunity to Dayan, a former bodyguard-driver and lover of Senator Leila de Lima, to House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez.
