(Eagle News) — Hollywood action star Steven Seagal is set to meet President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacanang on Thursday.
The meeting is scheduled at 5 p.m. based on Duterte’s schedule of events.
It comes days after the popular actor expressed admiration for the President, who he said was doing all he could to make the country safe.
Seagal is also a big fan of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I’m a big fan of the government, and I think Duterte is a very good president and he has been instrumental in making the Philippines an up and coming place,” Seagal–who is in the country to film scenes for his upcoming television series “General Commander”—said in a press conference in Makati on Tuesday.
This is his third visit in the country.
