NEW YORK, NY (Eagle News) – In their last meeting with the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks lost in overtime and the ‘Greek Freak’ vowed to get even with Mario Hezonja for dunking and stepping over him during the game. That was the last game the Knicks won.

The high scoring Bucks all-star made good on his promise and conquered what some have dubbed the mecca of basketball with a double-double, 30 points and 14 rebounds to seal the game for Milwaukee with a 109-95 win.

In a nationally televised game,  Antetokounmpo, also known as the Greek Freak, put on a spectacular show in front of the Knicks home crowd at Madison Square Garden.

“The whole world is watching,” Antetokounmpo said. “We want to show the world what the Bucks are capable of. We’re out there to have fun, to move the ball and defend well and we were able to get the win.”

On the other hand, the Knicks, losers of five straight games, continue to expose their poor third quarter performances.

“It’s kind of a common thing that we have to change,” Knicks rookie forward, Kevin Knox said. “Most of our losses are coming from one quarter. We played really good in the first half and coming into the locker room, we felt real good. We just want to make sure we come out in the third quarter and do something.”

Knicks visit the Bucks in Milwaukee on Thursday.
