Gordon to NBI, PNP: Look for the two foreign nationals nabbed over 2013 Pampanga raid

(Eagle News)–Senator Richard Gordon on Thursday, Oct. 3, asked the National Bureau of Investigation and the Philippine National Police to look for the foreign national the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group believes was arrested by 13 policemen during the 2013 raid in Mexico, Pampanga.

Apart from Johnson Lee, Gordon asked the law enforcement agencies to look for Ding Wenkun, whom the CIDG said was presented by the 13 policemen to the media as the one they arrested during the raid instead.

Former CIDG Chief Benjamin Magalong said based on the CIDG probe, Wenkun was someone  the team led by then-Col. Rodney Baloyo arrested in Clark, far from the raid in Mexico.

Senators hearing the ninja policemen issue have concluded a switching of suspects had taken place.

Gordon said Lee, a Korean national, has not left his country as they were in possession of his passport.

He said Wenkun, on the other hand, could shed light on the injustices that supposedly  happened to him.

The Senate probe is still ongoing at press time.
