Eleazar thanks Palace for “trust and confidence” as he is included in shortlist for the next PNP chief

(Eagle News) – Outgoing National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Police Major Gen. Guillermo Eleazar expressed his gratitude for the trust given to him for his inclusion in President Rodrigo Duterte’s shortlist for the next Philippine National Police (PNP) chief.

In this report by Eagle News Service reporter, Gerald Rañez, Guillermo also said he has mixed emotions in being designated as the new head of the PNP Directorial Staff.

It was only last Thursday, Oct. 10, that PNP spokesperson Police Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac announced Guillermo’s promotion as the chief of the PNP Directorial Staff.

“I am really thankful to the PNP leadership at siyempre pati na rin sa Malacanang for the trust and confidence they have given me,” Guillermo said.

Police Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas will be the new NCRPO chief.
