The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that there is a possibility that the effects of El Niño will get even worse in the first quarter of 2016.
In response, the Department of Agriculture (DA) formed a committee to resolve the said problem. The committee will focus on the problems brought by the El Niño.
