(Eagle News)– President Rodrigo Duterte garnered a “very good” rating in the recent Social Weather Stations’ (SWS) survey, despite his controversial tirades against United States and other international communities.

The data were collected September 24 to 27.

The survey, which conducted through interviews with 1,200 adults nationwide showed that 75% of them were satisfied, while 13 percent were undecided.

With a net satisfaction of +64%, Duterte fared better than his predecessors, except former President Fidel V. Ramos with +66% in a survey conducted in 1992.

SWS classifies net satisfaction ratings of at least +70 as “excellent”; those +50 to +69 as “very good”; +30 to +49, “good”; +10 to +29, “moderate”; +9 to – 9, “neutral”; – 10 to – 29, “poor”; – 30 to – 49, “bad”; – 50 to – 69, “very bad”; and – 70 and below, “execrable.”
