(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte slammed Communist Party of the Philippines founder Jose Maria Sison on Tuesday, Aug. 21, for his remark on his health.
In his first public appearance since Sison said there were reports he had gone into a coma, Duterte said Sison’s “mind is really abused by himself.”
“Nobody else,” Duterte said.
According to Duterte, he stayed in Davao to rest.
“Let me just also disabuse the mind of Sison,” he added.
In a Facebook post, Sison said there were reports Duterte looked ill in one of his fraternity’s events over the weekend, and had gone into a coma since Sunday.
Soon after though, Special Assistant to the President released a video of Duterte dining with a woman in Davao.
Sison later said that while Duterte looked tired and seemed to have undergone a dialysis, he may live long to stand trial before the International Criminal Court.
