(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has signed a law ordering the development of a curriculum on advanced energy and green building technologies.
Under Republic Act 11393 signed on Aug. 22, tasked to do this for the undergraduate and graduate levels were the Commission on Higher Education, in consultation with the Department of Energy and higher education institutions recognized by the Commission on Higher Education.
The curriculum should cover design resilience, and sustainable design and building practices, among others.
CHED, in consultation with the DOE, should also develop a graduate education curriculum on advanced energy technology research, among others.
