Duterte says he will fire another undersecretary for corruption

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday, Nov. 26, said he would fire another undersecretary or corruption.

In a speech in Davao, Duterte said he would do this as soon as he gets back in Manila.

He did not say whom, however, he was going to dismiss.

The President’s pronouncement came after he fired Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council secretary general Falconi Millar.

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said a company had lodged an affidavit before the Office of the President, accusing Millar of asking for grease money  in exchange for the release of the money HUDCC owes the company in the first place.

Millar said the accusations were part of a demolition job against him.
