(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte on Saturday, Nov. 11, said Communist Party of the Philippines peace negotiators Luis Jalandoni and Fidel Agcaoili had requested for a meeting with him in the Philippines.
According to Duterte, “ang problema nila kapag huhulihin sila.”
As such, he said he called for a cluster meeting with the military to discuss the same.
“Sabi nila, baka, baka pa lang. It’s not a very big margin there,” he said.
In November, Duterte terminated peace talks with the Communists citing their alleged wrongdoings including the killing of a baby.
The government, however, urged the conduct of localized peace talks.
