Drilon seeks realignment of funds for illegal drug to housing projects

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon wants the P900 million funds that had been set aside for the government’s war against illegal drugs to be realigned for housing projects.

During the budget interpellation for the Department of Interior and Local Government, Drilon said that funds for the anti-illegal drug campaign is useless and that the Php 900 million fund should instead be used for the government’s housing project.
